Hello! I’m Kerry.....
I’ve worked in education for a very long time (20 years), both in universities
and schools.
For over 11 years, I led the careers provision at a top independent school. I
LOVE helping young people find the right route for them and especially
supporting with apprenticeship applications (I’m a fan of uni too, but I find
that schools tend to be very focused on UCAS and less so on other routes).
I have supported students who have progressed on to very competitive
degree apprenticeship programmes.
I am a mum of three and am strongly committed to all students having
access to top opportunities - I try to keep my prices affordable, and can
offer group sessions if there is a group of friends with similar requirements.
I also work with schools, running employability workshops and application support sessions;
as well as with companies and organisations keen to support young people with their
career journeys.
How I can help.......
Understanding apprenticeships and the application process
Online group workshops
Understanding skills, competencies and employer requirements
Preparation for interviews and assessment centres
Bespoke packages of support
Workshops and presentations for schools
Review of applications, CVs and personal statements
Support and guidance for parents
I must say thank you -
the guidance you gave
me really helped me to
get my foot in the door

Testimonials
Kerry reviewed my daughter’s personal
statement and provided invaluable
feedback on how to strengthen it. It was a
reassuring process to make sure the
statement was covering all the points it
needed to. I would definitely recommend
this service to anyone thinking about
applying for university.

If you want someone with exceptional
knowledge and practical skills, I highly
recommend K L Consults. Her understanding
of how to apply for degree apprenticeships is
vast and her preparation allows young people
to succeed. She is empathetic and really
listens.
